Winston-Salem is a city and the seat of Forsyth County, North Carolina, United States. United by tobacco, Camel City shines with a vibrant art community, Moravian heritage and downtown destinations. The 1.6-mile Long Branch Trail connects downtown Winston-Salem to surrounding walks and nature parks. Winston-Salem is also home to six colleges and institutions, including Wake Forest University, Winston-Salem State University and the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, which is among the best art schools in the United States.

Winston-Salem is the 72nd largest city by area in the United States and the fourth largest community in North Carolina.
